Owner: Dwight Schaubach
This beautifully restored 1929 Auburn 8-90 was purchased in Quebec, Canada, in 2018. In 2019, it began a two-and-a-half year full restoration by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Factory in Broken Arrow, Okla. It was purchased by current owner, Dwight Schaubach in February 2024.
When the 1929 Auburn 8-90 made its debut, there was no other production car like it. Built on a short wheelbase with 90 horsepower and weighing 3,250 pounds, the 8-90 looks fast, even sitting still. A sharply raked, low v-type windshield was highlighted by a long hood and high beltline, ending in a tapered tail.
