The 1911 Cadillac was recognized worldwide as a major advance in engineering and handling. It won the Dewar Award, a first for an American car manufacturer. This Cadillac was delivered to McCalister Bros. dealership in Pittsburgh, Pa. in April 1911 Upgrades include: windshield, front bumper and a talking horn, all of which are operational.
The car made its way to the West Coast and hauled farm workers up and down the California coast during the Dust Bowl and The Great Depression. Pushed into a barn before World War II and uncovered in the 1960s, it underwent a full restoration in the 1980s, before going back into storage. The current owners took possession of the car from storage and did a three-year refurbishment and restoration.
