Owner: Allen Tate

One of only 196 factory-supercharged Y Block eight-cylinder F Code Thunderbirds built by Ford to homologate production to race at Daytona Beach 1957, to answer the challenge by Chevrolet's 1957 Corvette fuel-injection sports car.

In January 1957, 15 D/F Thunderbirds were built and won the challenge at Daytona by winning the race against the Corvettes. This is a three-owner F Bird from new and was body-off restored by Hill's Restoration in Racine, Ohio, an authority in restoring award-winning 1955-1957 Ford Thunderbirds.
