Owned by Tim Lingerfelt, this 1975 Porsche 930 Turbo was finished in silver, the original OEM color. Other than its one respray, this car is 100 percent original, with its correct tool kit, air pump, spare tire and Blaupunkt radio with record function and microphone.
This is one of four Porsche 930 Turbos with the silver/full McLaughlin and black leather combo. Many 1975 turbos were used for racing as back up cars for 934 and other models; only a few street versions remain.
This car has earned Best in Class, Pinehurst 2015; Best of Show, Dunes Club Myrtle Beach 2023; and Best in Class, Trump Concours de'Elegance 2016. It is often displayed to raise funds for the Salt Block Hickory Museum of Art and other benefit functions.
