The Daytona Spider is known by many in the U.S as the car from “Miami Vice,” which first aired 40 years ago. This 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider is one of only 121 produced between 1968 and 1973. Of those, 96 were exported to the U.S., while 25 remained in Europe and the UK. Chassis 16857 is the 92nd of 121 factory-built Daytona Spiders.

Featuring a 4.4- liter V12 Colombo motor, a steel ladder chassis and a five-speed manual transmission, the Ferrari tops out at 174 mph. The car’s first owner was fight promoter, Ben Bryant, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, who paid $30,000.
