The 1964 Iso Rivolta is a grand tourer introduced in 1962 by Italian manufacturer Iso Automotoveicoli S.p.A. Renzo Rivolta began his automotive career building motor scooters and motorcycles, before designing his first microcar, the Isetta. After selling the rights to the Isetta to BMW, he began building the Iso Rivolta, which was presented to the public at the 1962 Torino Motor Show.
The Iso-Rivolta displays the successful integration of a high performance American V8 engine with road-worthy European chassis design. This Iso Rivolta is number 196 of the 799 units that were built before production ended in 1970 amid slow sales. Only 10 of the 799 featured a sunroof. The Iso Rivolta remains a respected example of the very best in Italian
Grand Touring chassis, braking, roadholding and classic 1960s Italian coachwork.
